The sunshine has kept us busy and we’ve seen a lot of new items arrive in our showroom. This week we focus on versatile, neutral furniture items, unique ceramic art pieces, and dynamic accessories. As always, stop by anytime, Monday-Saturday, 10AM-6PM, give us a call at 503.222.6122 or email us at home@seamstofit.com with any questions.
And remember, we’re in our new location at 2237 NW Raleigh St, just six blocks from our old space.
Deep, espresso-brown rattan frames the pedestal base of this 42″ glass-topped table, set with four matching armchairs finished with textured, synthetic leather seats. Priced at $650/set–SOLD. Centered atop the glass sits a large Raku bowl, trimmed in sculptural ceramic leaves done by Adrienne Stacey ($150)–SOLD. Bringing color up from the floor is an 8’8″ x 12′ Karastan Rug in the Mahira-Antique Ousha pattern ($1295)–SOLD.
The sleek ‘Tristan’ media credenza from Brownstone serves up versatility, with a low-profile silhouette, transforming any space from contemporary to traditional. Accessorizing the surface are a pair of lidded Raku jugs by Lew Ayers ($125, $450)–SOLD, a metal-plated wooden decor box ($20)–SOLD, metal Fleur de Lys book ends ($30)–SOLD and a bronze-painted metal table lamp ($115)–SOLD.
Sage-green ultrasuede lends depth to this two-piece sectional ($895–SOLD). The 10-foot sofa is set at a slight angle, allowing for greater functionality within smaller spaces. Seated in front is a brown, tufted leather ottoman, priced at $295–SOLD. A hardwood-framed occasional chair adds a touch of fun with its floral upholstery ($495–SOLD) and the storage possibilities for this Antique Japanese futon chest (priced at $800)–SOLD are endless!
We’ve all fallen in love with this fabulous Chinese Hong Mu wood accent table, priced at $695–SOLD, which provides the perfect canvas to place colorful Asian ceramics, like this scalloped edge Japanese platter ($50–SOLD) and this large, vintage Chinese vase decorated with peacocks and peonies ($125–SOLD). And don’t be afraid to mix styles; finish the tabletop with a pair of pewter and glass pillar stands from Nordstrom Home ($75/pair–SOLD).
For a small taste of some of the ceramic pieces we’ve received, here’s a favorite: a decorative teapot from renowned ceramicist Yoshiro Ikeda created with a raised glaze pattern and finished in vibrant colors. Measures 15″ high and priced at $450–SOLD.
We hope to see you soon!
